Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence has four components:
- how well a person can identify his/her own emotions
- how well he/she manages his/her own emotions
- how well can he/she identify the emotions of others and
- how he/she is able to manage the emotions of others. This is a crucial learned skill that is essential for effective leadership.
